One of the oldest fire alarm brands in North America (1852); E3 Series distributed broadband fire architecture and BDA systems for in-building public safety radio coverage
Overview
Gamewell-FCI, a Honeywell brand, is one of the oldest fire alarm companies in North America, tracing its history to the invention of the first municipal electric fire alarm system in 1852. Today the brand produces the E3 Series (large networked fire alarm and mass notification), S3 Series (small addressable with touchscreen interface), and 7075 Series (single-loop addressable) fire alarm control panels, as well as public safety bi-directional amplifiers (BDA) and distributed antenna systems (DAS) for in-building emergency radio communication. The E3 Series uses a distributed peer-to-peer broadband architecture over two wires or fiber optic, providing exceptional survivability for large, complex campus deployments. Gamewell-FCI products comply with NFPA 72 and UL standards and are available in Canada through Honeywell's fire safety distribution network. The brand is particularly strong in institutional, healthcare, and public safety markets.
