Overview
Edwards is one of the oldest and most established fire alarm brands in North America, founded in 1872 and now a flagship brand within Carrier Global's Fire & Security division. The brand produces a wide range of fire alarm control panels from the EST2 and EST3 large-capacity networked systems to the iO series for small commercial applications, along with notification appliances (horn/strobes), manual pull stations, and addressable initiating devices widely used in Canadian commercial and institutional construction. Edwards systems comply with NFPA 72, ULC, and UL standards. The EST3 networked panel is particularly well-regarded for large-scale applications requiring integrated voice evacuation, fire suppression supervision, and mass notification.
