Overview
Honeywell offers two major building management platforms: Enterprise Buildings Integrator (EBI) and the Niagara Framework (deployed through Vykon and OEM partners). EBI is Honeywell's enterprise-grade master systems integration platform providing a unified view of BMS, fire, security, and energy systems through a geospatial map-based interface with automated incident workflow and compliance reporting, deployed at hospitals, airports, and large commercial campuses. The Niagara Framework, originally developed by Tridium (a Honeywell subsidiary), serves as the underlying open integration platform enabling Honeywell's Alerton BAS and third-party BAS integrators to connect disparate building systems using a common Java-based middleware layer. Together these platforms address the full spectrum from building-level automation controllers to enterprise-wide multi-site portfolio management. Both are deployed across Canada in healthcare, education, and government facilities.
