Overview
2GIG Technologies is a US manufacturer of wireless residential and light commercial security systems, best known for the Go!Control and GC3 panel families, now part of Nortek Security & Control (a Melrose Industries company). The 2GIG platform uses the 345 MHz wireless sensor frequency shared with Honeywell 5800-series sensors, providing broad accessory compatibility. Panels integrate natively with Alarm.com for cloud management, remote access, and home automation, and with Z-Wave for smart device control. The GC3 and GC3e platforms introduced enhanced encrypted wireless, a large colour touchscreen interface, and built-in cellular. 2GIG sensors and panels are widely used by North American alarm dealers targeting the residential market and apartment/condo installations. The company's products are distributed in Canada through security wholesale channels.
